Sometimes life throws you a bone, and sometimes it shoves one up your ass

The ass:
Today has been a very hectic day. I tried to apply for my visa, but it was to no avail because I simply had too much to do. If I only had one more day, I'd be able to turn in the aplication before I go to Mexico. But instead, I need to wait until after, which is after their "60 day minimum prior to departure" rule.

This was, of course, after I stayed up until 3 last night making copies/getting stuff together for it, and then woke up at 6:30 so that I could get in line by 7:30. The consulate opens at 9. I was the 17th person to show up, and they only let 15 in. Figures.

The bone:
I got everything else I need for my visa done today. All I need to do now is show up with my documents and wait in line for like 5 hours.

I bet you're wondering, "what are you gonna do about the 60 day minimum policy?" Well, the LA consulate has a 30 day minimum policy. But there is a little bit of ass involed there too, as I'll have to skip class, find a way to get to LA, stay with people at UCLA on Thursday night, wake up at 5 the next morning, apply, and hope that I give them enough time to get it to me beofre I leave.

But there's more bone too. I got an A- in my econometrics class, in which I probably got a bottom 10% grade on the midterm. That's definitely a tasty bone.

Conclusion: Applying for visas sucks, good grades don't suck, I'm really tired right now. This post was hectic, unorganized, and just bad. I hope you all enjoyed it.
