Wow, I feel like I'm being interviewed by USA Today or something. My choice not to eat meat is somewhat political, I guess. I just don't see why I should eat animals when I don't have to, you know? I can survive just fine without being the cause of death for things that are alive and sentient. I decided not to drink caffeine because it's a drug. It's a stimulant. I never really liked coffee. I do like soda that's caffeinated, but I've decided I'll just get the caffeine free version or if that's not available at any particular time, get something else entirely. I haven't drunk alcohol since the summer of 2002. I've never smoked or done any drugs other than over the counter pain relievers. I used to get a lot of shit about not drinking, but now that Straight Edge is so popular, it's not so common anymore. I haven't seen any changes, really, but I just feel better. I feel better knowing that I'm always in control of myself, never influenced by foreign substances. Drunk people do a lot of shitty things and then blame it on being drunk. I hate that. I also hate how in smoker culture it's acceptable to litter. People who smoke throw their butts wherever they please because it's acceptable. I hate that, too. I just don't want to be like that.
