Here's an idea for a PB/celeb comm I'd totally join if it existed which it won't ever. Title: Covent Garden: Takes place in London circa 1995. Story revolves around a just barely there but beginning to sparkle band who sort of hangs with the likes of Suede and maybe Pulp on a good day but are invisible to people like Damon Albarn. The lead singer is a Brian Kinney type, older established and very experienced gay gentleman who is in love with his own reflection (face: Jude Law). At a gig he enctounters a young fan (face: Ben Whishaw, age: 17) whom he shacks up with but sees as nothing serious. Clearly this can turn into something serious later but the conflict here is the self-important bass player of said lead singer who is very in love and very jealous (face: Jonny Lee Miller). Lead singer doesn't give a shit about him, either but keeps him around for ego. Lead singer is kind of an asshole. Other PB characters would be in the band and/or directly related to them whereas roles like major bands in the Britpop 90s era would strictly be celeb RPG, in an AU world. Yeah...I'd totally go for this.
