Letters to my little sister... (and many others as well)

To my little sister:
Don't be in such a hurry to grow up. Life may be short but you've got plenty of time left so appreciate your youth while you still have it. Don't go chasing after too many boys. They're cute and fun to play with but, again you've got planty of time for that in the future. For now, just play it cool and let them come to you. Middle school can be rough sometimes but always remember to stay true to yourself and don't ever change to make other people like you. Chances are, if they didn't like you in the first place, they never will and you're wasting your time anyways. Your true friends love you for who you are. Don't expect any more advice from me because I can only give it in small doses every four years so you're gonna have to wait for the next installment.

To Riverwood Alums Class of 2005 and before:
I know I haven't talked to many of you guys in a while but I still love you all and miss you like hell. High school wouldn't have been the same without you guys and I'm glad you were there to pull me through it. I hope you all have a happy Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa (even though I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who celebrates that one). I hope to see you all again sometime. Call me if you wanna hang out over the semester break.

To Current Riverwoodians:
High School sucks. But you gotta graduate or you'll never be able to experience college (which rocks). So don't slack off. And take lot sof AP classes. They add up. I'll be a sophomore next semester and I'm so glad because I'm saving craploads of money. Anyways, I miss you all and I really am planning to come visit someday. I don't know when but I will and that's a promise.

To All the members of my FLC:
This semester was awesome. I'm so glad I got a chance to meet all of you. Kokayi you have to tell me the answer to that question (you know what I'm talking about). Sam when I'm finished with all of the guys at GSU I will marry you and we will have 15 babies and live happily ever after in our farmhouse in Alabama. Antwon, I love you. We have to hang out next semester. You keep me focused. And to all the rest of you, I love you and I hope to see you all at Todd's party next week.

To DJay, Jerome, Aaron, Brian, Nick, George, Jojo, and all my other friends from church:
Get ready for the disco bash on Saturday. And the Christmas party tomorrow. And the New Years' sumo-wrestling, concert hopping, fireworks watching, dancing, shindig. It will be the ultimate party of the year. I can't wait to start planning our trip this summer. Jojo, have a great time in Nigeria. And don't forget our spring break road trip. And don't forget about me in Madagsacar. DJay, I have finalized my plans for Nigeria and I will meet up with you guys in Kazakhstan. I love you all and I'll see you all this weekend.

And I do believe that's it for my letters. Santa, you already got my letter this year, right? I'm gonna have to take a raincheck on our annual get-together with the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy. I accidentally made plans with some friends of mine. But I will be there next year. No doubt.

One love, -Kristen
