So...I'm not really in the mood to update, but I thought I'd give it a try. The first 2 weeks of this semester have been so jam packed with drama and activities, it's been absolutely insane. Who knew this much could happen in so little time? I certainly didn't. And I didn't really want all of it anyway, but hey that's life I suppose. Hmm...soo what to say. So much to say, so little time, and I won't say any of what really matters anyway... :)
I've been watching a lot of Sex and the City. Good show. Stefy and I finished the first season tonight!!
Tomorrow I have the orientation session for volunteering I'm going to do at local schools. I'm required to do 15 hours for my education course, so I'm doing hours Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at a high school with a reading class and a middle school with a language arts class. A lot of English, I know. I always did like English and it will be a nice change from music 24/7 I suppouse. I'm so excited for it though!!!
Classes are going passably well. I've been not at all motivated to watch all these stupid Statistics lectures; I should have never taken an online class. I know myself better than to think I would watch these lectures regularly. Oh well. It happens.
If you want a really good laugh sometime, or are bored in Music Tech class (as I find myself every Wednesday and Friday 4th period), go to Quizilla. It has some crazy amusing quizzes. I recommend "what color anime hair would you have" or possibly "what kind of kisser are you". Be warned that I would have green anime hair and am a 'surprise kisser'. Watch out for me in your local supermarket; I might be coming around the corner to attack you with a kiss!
I'm going to steal something from someone else's LJ (sorry Tony..:) ). What was the most significant event of 2004 for you? My evil plot is to possibly make some of you comment for once!! (so sly, I know)
For me, it's hands down moving to Florida. Even though I saw the move coming ever since the 9th grade, I never ever could have prepared myself for watching the house I had lived in for 18 years be sold. Or watching most of our posessions be tagged and sold in an estate sale. I actually went back the day of the sale with my family as some of you may remember. I walked in and saw that my sister and I had accidentally left our band jackets in the hall closet. They had priced the jackets and were actually selling them. I broke down and my parents took the jackets and we left. But, no matter. The entire experience was a huge learning experience that is still slowly progressing. I've learned so much about myself and my abilities to adapt to new experiences and I think that I'm better off now. I'm a much happier and easy going person now. Thank you to all who helped me through that experience. You know who you are and you know how much I love you.
Wow. That was a much longer entry than I intended to write. And it was rather sappy and dwelling in the past. Sorry guys....I hope I didn't depress anyone or anything unfun like that. If so, I give you permission to hurt me the next time you see me. Of course, remember I am a ninja....I will leave you all with a beautiful quote from Samantha in Sex and the City:
"Men are not that complicated. They are kind of like plants".
