Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year everyone! Hope it was wonderful and you didn't spend it on the bus back from the Peach Bowl like I did!! But, that wasn't sooo bad I guess...but it would have been a lot better if we had won! The Gator Band still beats the UM band, so it's alll good! I started feeling really reflective today on the bus ride home. For some reason, some people starting talking about elementary school and I was reminded of all my "traumatic experiences" (I'm sure some of you have heard these stories more times than you ever wanted to hear them!). It's so weird that I remember those experiences so well, because I have such a horrible memory otherwise; I will never ever forget the reason I don't eat beef jerky, or didn't "stay" for lunch in the first grade, or hate Chicago's Macy's store or anything like that. Anyway, I'm not sure how I got off on this tangent or if I had a point there. I think what I was getting to is that even though I talk about those traumatizing experiences more than I should, they don't really matter all that much. All that matters is the here and now. What happened last year happened last year. It's a new year without any mistakes or any "traumatic experiences", which in my book at least, equates a wonderful wonderful thing!
I'm sooo excited to go back to Gainesville and start up classes again! I miss everyone soo much!

P.S. There are plans underway for a random weekend visit in the month of March to the beautiful city of Pittsburgh. Pixburghers, tell me what weekend is absolutely horrible for you to make it back to the Burgh next time you talk to me (or if you're there still, don't sweat it!). After senior year, I have more frequent flyer miles than I know what to do with...so I better use them up before US Airways goes under! I love and miss you all!
