Epstein-Barr is evil

So, I've had an interesting couple of weeks...
Let's start with the big piece of news: I have mono, diagnosed about a week and a half ago, which makes me maybe halfway through the virus' course (but a lot of people have told me you don't really feel 'well' for months?). If you haven't had mono, you're really missing out. It is an amazing roller coaster ride of throat pain, fatigue, built up pressure creating headeaches and ear pain and random insomnia from sleeping all day. I think the worst part of mono is the stage I'm at now. I'm starting to feel better, but then I just crash and feel like crap randomly. I'm almost able to do things and I feel like I should be able to do them, but I just can't. So, yeah. It's amazing. And hopefully things keep on a somewhat upward path. And now I'm done complaining. ;)

Other than the enjoyment I've been procuring from Mr.'s Epstein and Barr (the namesakes of mono), my life has really been pretty amazingly good. Classes end next Wednesday and I will officially be an upperclassman (not just by credits...), which is a pretty weird feeling. When did I get through half of college? I finally declared my major officially on Monday (music with a concentration in psychology) and I've been researching a double major. I might do it...We'll see. Right now, I'm focused on making sure I get done with everything for this semester and do well in everything. It'd be nice to have some pretty looking grades on my transcript after last semester. ;) I'm probably going to come back in June to take my pre-professional jury for flute since I really can't play or practice right now. It will make me feel a lot more comfortable to be able to prepare for my jury without feeling like I'm overloading myself, since that way it will only take me longer to recover from mono. I can also take a small vacation from Delray Beach that way... :)

I had a very good night tonight. After a sort of crappy day of feeling stricken with Epstein-Barr, I went out to dinner with my very cool little sister, who treated me to one of the best pieces of cake I've had in a very long time. I got a postcard from a Uf-er who's in Paris right now (and everyone knows I loooove Paris) and I talked to my favorite person in Westminster, PA. Very good, I'd say. Only one person missing...

So, I didn't really have much of anything to say in here. Life is gooooooood and spring semester is almost done! yay!

Keep good kids and make sure not to get mono.
