Puppy!!!!!!

Today was an amazing day....for a day of spring break spent in Delray Beach, possibly one of the most unexciting towns EVER, it wins some sort of a prize...I'm not sure what the name of that prize would be, but I'll uh work on it and get back to you all. Anyway, so to why today was so wonderful....I am now the proud owner of a male daschund born on 1/6/06!!!!! My mom and I have been to a couple breeders, but this one was absolutely amazing...She has this huge sort of ranch in Weston with just beautiful scenery and very wonderful dogs with very nice temperments. I think I'm going to name him Toby (but don't quote me on that) and I'll be getting him when I come home for summer break...and the nice part about that is I'll be getting him at just around 14 weeks, which is just around the time that puppies become neurologically capable of being house-trained. So then I get to spend the rest of the summer house-training him, taking care of him and just training him in general! I'm verrrrry excited!! I've started looking on ebay for some of the basics that I need to buy for him, so I can save money...because buying Toby is putting a small but sizable dent in my bank account..but it's a dent that I'm thrilled to make. And yes, I understand that puppies are a lot of work and I know that he will be around for 20 years and I know that he will cost a lot of money. I have thought through this quite a bit and done a lot of research...I don't want anyone to think I'm just doing this haphazardly. I may make rather rash decisions, but I always am intelligent about them...I'm not sure that made a whole lot of sense to other people, but it did to me.
Soooo..in conclusion...Marissa has a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. PITTSBURGH WAS AMAZING!!! Everyone up there absolutely rocks...it was sooo good to see everyone again...absolutely awesome. :)
