Ye gods has it been a long time since I posted. Its pretty bad since I do actually read my friends page everyday. So anyway just in case I haven't commented recently yes I am still alive.

Not much else to say right now except that its SNOWING!!!! WHEEE!!!

So minupla and I are waiting for his first paycheck. Since he's a contractor his pay is net30. For the non-contractors in the crowd that means that he is paid in 30 day cycles. Luckily he got them to okay him invoicing them for two weeks so that we could be paid sooner. However they have until the 19th to get the check to him. This is bad because we've ( Read more... )

Blah. There was a nasty lighting storm that swept through Toronto last night and I think our building took a hit. Around the time of the storm coming through I heard a big boom and then suddenly there was no internet. The strange part was the computer still had power. minupla and I are still trying to figure out what we are doing for New Years. If we don't figure it out we'll probably end up doing nothing like last year. We're just not the sort to go out drinking and get drunk for the sake of getting drunk. So we're looking for alternatives.

I can't believe its already December 14th. Christmas is around the corner and we're so not ready. Money has been tight and we're not going to be able to do everything we wanted to do. So minupla sucks. Okay he doesn't really but I am jealous. Due to the merger thats happening at his company he has to fly down to Vancouver on Saturday until Thursday to meet people at the Vancouver office of the company thats buying out the one he works for.
