Murray Gold, Doomsday, Journey's End, etc.

Let's face it, Murray Gold is a musical genius;

He's the compositioner of the soundtracks of the Doctor Who series, which I have been listening to all day. Even though just two of the thirty-one songs actually contains lyrics, it's an amazing album, very soothing and still very dramatic. I recognize all the songs and it makes me think of various events in repective episodes, and that's quite a lot of fun actually, to me at least, but maybe I'm just wierd, huh?

My favourite track is deffinitely the 27th, Doomsday, which is also my favourite episode ever, and that's including every other TV-show I have ever seen, ever!! That episode is just so sad, and I always cry hysterically when I see it, I don't know if that makes me a wuss, but I honestly do not care, 'cause I love that episode and I love Doctor Who and I love Rose, so yeah.

And about the latest episode, Journey's End, I think it's lovely how Rose gets a Doctor of her own, one she can live and grow old with, but at the same time I started crying (yes, again) because I felt so bad for the Doctor, our, 100% Time Lord, Doctor, because he gets no one.

And the whole thing with Donna is just pretty rubbish, 'cause I loved Donna too, she was so funny and cocky and she was just lovely, so it's really sad that she has to go. Catherine Tate is awesome, and she really was a great Doctor Donna, it really suited her as well :]

And about the whole me being oversentimental - as Melker so nicely put it -, I know it's all just fictional but I just feel so bad for all the characters. Also, I hope Tennant never leaves, 'cause he is an amazing Doctor, and he is just awesome!! But we all knew that already :]

That's all for now, I guess; I'll go back to listening to the soundtrack and possibly go lurking around on youtube or continue lurking here, on livejournal. Either way, Hasta la vista, muñecas :]

doctor who, ramble
