[01] [02] [03] Chapter 4;
Ryo slammed the door behind him, stalked to his room and locked himself. He wanted to be alone. He needed time to think. Everything seemed it was rushing to him like a hurricane.
He saw Jin, Nakamaru and… Ueda for the first time in five years, and he finds out that Yamashita was child hood best friends with Ueda.
Everything was all to shocking to him.
Ryo lay down on his bed and sighed. Why was it happening now? Does fate seem to hate him or something?
He started reminiscing the past… He doesn’t even know how ruined he was after Ueda had left him. Ryo curled his hand tightly, saying to himself that he will never let that kind of man enter his life again or better yet, not to get involved with Ueda anymore.
“Ryo… Please calm down!” Uchi says, in a worried tone. He was frowning at his thrashing best friend.
Ryo quickly grabbed a lamp and threw it across the room. “Don’t tell me to calm down! I just can’t fucking believe he fucking did this to me!” He hissed. “I hate him! I HATE HIM!”
Uchi could only watch his friend as he threw everything on the floor, to the wall and break glasses. He felt bad for his friend. Yesterday, Ryo felt confident that Ueda was going back to school or something and now the next day he was just throwing a mad tantrum. Uchi hated seeing his friend this way. ‘Oh Tat-chan… I wonder what you did…’
Ryo was about to break another glass but Uchi moved in and stopped his arm from throwing it onto the floor. “Ryo, stop, throwing mad tantrums is not the way to help you right now.”
The other man glared helplessly at Uchi and soon, all the anger quickly melted away and he collapsed on his knees, tears were slowly coming down.
Uchi watched his best friend sadly as Ryo cried and cried.

When Yamapi arrived in his condo, he frowned. Ryo was nowhere to be in sight and he probably locked himself him up, like a little emo boy he was. Well, he isn’t that emo. Wait, is he?
Yamashita watched as Ryo threw pictures into the fireplace. Of course, for the moment, Yamashita didn’t know whose pictures those were until he sneaked behind Ryo and it was all pictures and letters and gifts from Ueda Tatsuya.
‘Aw, he’s going in denial,’ He thought.
He watched on, without Ryo’s consent of him being there, watching him as Ryo rips the pictures of Ueda Tatsuya and any form of letters and gifts.
“I hate you,” Ryo threw a ripped picture of Ueda into the fire. “And you, you, you, you, YOUUU!”
Yamashita watched amusingly. It was rather fun to see Ryo throwing stuff at the fire place and yet so sad.
And for the next few days, Ryo had started wearing black. All black and he would stay up in his room and stare at the ceiling.
Yamapi grinned to himself and he jumped on the couch and turned on the T.V. Soon after, he fell asleep.
When the clock reached 8:30 pm, Yamapi headed out the door and into his car. It just took 20 minutes to get to Ueda’s house. It was far but by the time you reach the Ueda estates, you’d have to drive another 5 minutes and WA-LA~ Ueda Tatsuya’s mansion.
It was humongous, like how he’d remembered when he was kid. Far ahead, he saw another familiar man coming out from a black sports car. The man was just standing in front of his car and Yamapi quickly recognize him as Akanishi Jin as he came closer. Yamapi parked his car and got out.
“Why, thank you for waiting for me, Jin.” Yamapi chuckled.
Jin grinned. “Shut up, I barely got here.” He smacks Yamapi on the back. “Oh by the way, how’s Ryo?” He asked in a low voice.
“I don’t know. He seemed pretty mad at me, earlier.”
“Ooh, you told him that you knew Ueda before?”
“Yeah, that we were childhood best friends.”
“I see…” Jin nodded. “Well, let’s go in. Tat-chan must be done with his paperwork by now!” He started towards into the house and Yamapi wasn’t surprise that Jin had keys to Ueda’s house. It took them a good 15 minute walk to Ueda’s room and god, how could Ueda live in this big mansion?!
Jin entered a room and found Ueda behind a desk, writing something. Ueda’s head shot up and his lips curved into a smile. Then he went back to his paper, and quickly scribbled something.
“Hey, guys,” Tatsuya greeted. “Sorry, I had some paperwork to finish first…”
“It’s cool.” Yamapi replied, coolly. He walked around the room, and looked at the pictures sitting on a table. Some were pictures of Ueda’s family and his friends. He picked up a picture frame and took a closer look. He smiled. “How cute… she looks like you.”
Tatsuya looked up and smiled. “Yeah…” With the last paperwork, he stacked it up along with the other finished papers and he stood up. He poured some champagne for himself. “I’m guessing Ryo is mad at you?”
Yamapi smiled and nodded. “Definitely, I don’t blame him. I mean, you called me out of nowhere and told me to befriend a man name Nishikido Ryo, five years ago.”
The other man chuckled. “I couldn’t help it. I felt bad and well, I don’t want him to get himself hurt or something.”
“Tatsuya, that’s load of bullshit.” Jin retorted, a grin on his face.
Yamapi chuckled. “It appears Jin doesn’t agree with that statement.”
“Oh shut up you two.” Tatsuya hissed. “Jin here is just jealous that I kiss Nishikido today at the restaurant.”
“I am not!” Jin denied.
Tatsuya smirked and grabbed Jin by the collar and forcibly kissed him.
“Okay, yes, I was jealous…” Jin admitted while Tatsuya grinned.
Yamapi frowned and shook his head. “Isn’t this adultery, Tatsuya?” He knew that in some days, they must’ve fuck… at least once a week.
Tatsuya glared at his friend. “Like my wife hasn’t done it...”
His eyes widened and he almost choked with his saliva. “T-Ueda, you… knew?”
“I’m not that stupid, Pi.” Ueda shook his head. “If you had wanted to fuck my wife, then you should have picked a better place to do so, Tomohisa.” He sneered.
“You’re not mad at me, are you?”
“I wouldn’t be even talking to you.” Tatsuya replied bitterly, folding his arms. “You’re not the only one who she slept with…”
“What?!”
“…”
Yamapi sighed and shook his head. He was confused. He was pretty sure that Takumi only cheated with him but she was sleeping with other guys? No wonder Ueda has been down lately. “Then answer me this then, why did you kiss Nishikido today?”
“Hmm… I don’t even know what made me do it.” Tatsuya shrugged. “Instinct? Or maybe…”
“You just wanted to kiss him?” Yamapi finished the sentence for Tatsuya.
“Ah, yes, maybe…”
“Tat-chan, please don’t hurt him okay?” Yamapi pleaded, sorrow filled his tone, “It took a long while to get him back to his own two feet.”
Jin smirked. “Maybe, Tat-chan, you should play cupid also…” He suggested.
“Maybe…” Tatsuya laughed. “But don’t worry, let me have my fun. I won’t go that far…”
Yamapi half believed Tatsuya’s words, he knew that Tatsuya must be lusting after Ryo right now. He was still in love with him and for Tatsuya to turn out like a fine man he is right now, he masked his true feelings and revealed his fake ones to the world.
But, if Tatsuya was still in love with Ryo, what about Takumi? Did he love her too?

Ryo was quickly awakened by the slamming of the door and he quickly assumed it was his roommate, Yamashita Tomohisa. Then guilt quickly swam over him and sighed. He knew that he shouldn’t have done that. It wasn’t like Yamapi told Ueda to meet them in the restaurant.
He looked at the time and it was midnight. Did I sleep for that long? Ryo frowned and sighed. He heard the T.V. opened and he knew Yamapi was flipping through the channels yet again.
“Maybe I should apologize…” he muttered to himself. Ryo got up and went out to the living room, only to find Yamapi, yet again, flipping through the channels.
“Hey Ryo-chan!” Yamapi turned around and smiled. “Feeling better?”
Ryo nodded and smiled faintly at his roommate. He sat down next to Yamapi on the couch. An awkward silence filled the room. Neither of roommates dared to break this silence.
“I’m sorry, Ryo…”
“No… I’m sorry for throwing a mad tantrum at you. It wasn’t right for me to do that.”
“…I see, but I should be the one saying sorry… I didn’t realize that Tatsuya would be back from Taiwan early.” Yamapi said, turning off the T.V. and have his full attention to Ryo. “I was planning to keep it from you so you don’t have to see him again. He was coming back here next week, without you even noticing.”
“But even without me noticing, I’m bound to see him anywhere…” Ryo frowned.
Yamapi laughed. “In this big city, I doubt it. He’s a business man, he runs his family company and well, Tatsuya is just staying here for a month, then he’s leaving again…”
“Why?” Ryo blurted out and his eyes widened. Did I just ask why?
“There… are some things you shouldn’t know about, Ryo.”
“What do you mean?”
Yamapi snorted then smiled lightly. “Ryo, tell me, how much do you know about Ueda Tatsuya when you guys were a couple?”
Ryo was startled by this question. He thought about it and all those times, those dates they went out to, Ryo mostly talked about himself. Ueda never talked about himself in their dates… “N-Nothing…”
“Like I said, there is some stuff you shouldn’t know about.” He said, half smiling half frowning. “For once, I can’t believe I’m saying this but listen to Jin’s words earlier at the restaurant. “
“Ryo,” Jin warned. “I think it is best not even to see him at all. Forget about him. Listen to his message he sent to you a long time ago. Your heart will just shatter and break again…”
“I know Ueda fairly well.” Yamashita continued talking. “But Jin knows him the best. You don’t really want to meet the real Ueda Tatsuya.”
Ryo cringed when his roommate had said that last sentence. The real Ueda Tatsuya? “The… real-“
Yamapi cuts him off. “Like I said, don’t want to meet the real him…” He warned and went off to his room.

“Ah, I have an appointment with Ueda Tatsuya?” A young man asked. The maid nodded and let him in. She led the young man to the designated room and she opened the door for him. There, Tatsuya was drinking champagne.
“Ah, Uchi, so good to see you…” Tatsuya smiled. “It’s been a month since I last saw you.”
Uchi smiled at the man. “You’re so forgettable, Tat-chan. We just saw each other in Taiwan, three days ago.”
"Ah yes, forgive me. I... forget sometimes." He chuckled. He chucked down his wine and calmly set it down. "Down to business."
Uchi nodded. He put his briefcase on the table, opened and took a brown manila folder. "Here is all the information you need. I suggest you read every paper in this folder. There are some important information and even the involvement with your parents."
Ueda looked through it and his calm features was soon dropped by anger. Not being able to handle it anymore, he threw it on the side and growled. "I can't fucking believe this."

Ueda crumpled the paper and threw it across the room in anger.
“I can’t believe this!” He growled. He ranted it again and again.
Jin seemed startled by this sudden action. He picked up the crumpled paper and read the contents on it. A few minutes later, he gasped. The paper slips through his hands. “It… can’t be.”
Ueda slammed his fist on his table. He walked out from his room and grabbed his keys.
He walked up to Ryo who still hasn’t noticed him. Ueda tapped him on the shoulder and Ryo looked up, he glared.
Ueda couldn’t help but smile. “Hey, can I sit right here. Everything is full…”
Ryo started gathering his stuff and he stood up. “You can have the table. I’m just about to leave.” He muttered. He was about to leave when Ueda quickly grab his hand.
