Crime and punishment

I will begin my ranting here, and I will back it with all my heart, even if this shit will erase it anyway.

I got a ticket tonight by a cop who was convinced he prevented a family from dieing in a car accident in the city of Dexter from an asshole driver like me. And to think I would run a red light without using good judgement!
Side note: There was no family in a van or suv in sight and I ran the light because stopping in the terrible snowing blizzard was going to make me crash in the guard rail. Of course, he didn't understand, because people like him drive (and act) obeyingly, and find no remorse in stupid young people from Ohio.

I was very emotionally unstable after the incident. I took to some substance abusing once I arrived safely in the house of my friend's family, where I am house sitting. Healthy, shmealthy, fuck everything right now.

I found out on Thurs. that I could no longer have my job at the Humane Society. The duties of my position could have been absorbed by other staff members, they said, and due to the budget cuts, I could not be at their expense. The position I was hired in for was one created without any team leadership decision, but rather as a special "favor" for a staff member in need. Well, I was quite sad to find out the news, especially having been so proud of myself about the whole thing. I felt so foolish for some reason. Probably because I believed in it so much, and then it was finding out my position was a joke.

I looked in the classifieds today, seeing that they are the most comprehensive on Sundays. Nothing seemed very appealing. I am wishing to find something near by so that there is no driving involved. I feel like abandoning all sense of responsibility with vehicles forever. There's an ad about a dance instructor and apparently no experience involved. I've gotta check this one out. After having watched Saturday Night Fever last night, I feel inspired to become an amazing dancer who enters contests and such.
