KAY JUST SO YOU KNOW I'M GONNA BE TYPING OUT SOME SPOILERS...

Well son of a bitch. I mean. Thank you, Russell T Davies, for giving me a good cry. But like... Well I hope this is the end of Torchwood. I honestly do. I mean. Let's see. For consulation I googled the newest episode and found a website where people were talking about it (most of them giving it NO STARS) for obvious reasons. And people are like OH GOD THIS IS HORRIBLE OF COURSE THEY KILL THE GAY COUPLE.Let us remember this.
Torchwood started with Gwen. I don't care how you feel about her, we wouldn't have had torchwood if it hadn't been for Gwen Cooper. That being said, I hate the way all the other characters have slowly been killed off.
Second, please don't beat Russell T Davies up for killing a gay character because you'll be injuring a real life gay man and that would just be depressingly stupid. (I'm halfway responding to the comments I've been reading on this website, halfway to my own COMPLETELY PISSED OFF soul right now).
Ok. Let me tell you why this is not cool to me. It's not because he's a gay character because OMG THE GAYS DIE ISN'T THAT SO STEREOTYPICAL um...not really? I mean yes maybe in some movies but let's establish Torchwood as a gay-friendly show here, because it is. Ok? Let's say it together: Torchwood loves the gays. After all, it killed heterosexual owen off first, and then asian toshiko. OMG TORCHWOOD HATES THE ASIANS. not.
But. Let's say this again: TORCHWOOD LOVES KILLING YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTERS. It's like the show Doctor Who wants to be in this respect, but since Doctor who is a children's show only minor characters can die and everyone else gets brainwashed, locked in a parallel universe, or their own special life. BUT NOT TORCHWOOD. TORCHWOOD IS UNAFRAID TO LET MAIN CHARACTERS DIE OFF LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW.
I mean yes it makes it more realistic because let's face it who dies of natural causes in a job where everyone gets shot at twice a workday but still. But still.
Ianto was my favourite character. He had the sarcasm, he had the good looks, he had just the right amount of down-to earthiness but he was badass and I liked the way he fit with Jack. although I don't think Jack felt the same way. (I think Jack has a soft spot for all of his team members, which is why I'm not sure the "NO I TAKE IT BACK JUST DON'T TAKE HIM" was so...special although it DID make me start the waterworks so I'll give it that much). And I don't know if Ianto would have been okay with that in the end.but all of this is just my speculation. What I'm unhappy about is that yet again, my favourite character in a series has died and like... not even in a cool badass way but by a VIRUS by god what is this world coming to. I would hope that he's not actually dead but the only thing I can come up with is that the so-called "virus" doesn't actually kill people but puts them in a deathlike trance until the antivirus is given. I like this idea because 1) my favourite character comes back to life! 2) there might actually be ACTUAL RELATIONSHIP DISCUSSION BETWEEN HIM AND JACK.
because I know they were promising it this season but they simply haven't delivered.
No but I'm better after rabbit therapy. I think I shall start marketing it, because it really is quite good. They're so soft and cuddly they have to make you feel better, at least a little.
ok I'm done. In other news I got a haiiiircuuuuuuut and holy crap I think the back is the shortest it's been for awhile! It's actually vaguely reminiscent of my new facebook picture which is me at around 6 or 7, sporting a magnificent bob-ish bowl-ish cut. But um. I kinda like it! Although I'm not sure how it will behave once slept on! I took pictures and I'll try and post them tomorrow but right now I need some sleep.
