(no subject)
Yes, I think animals have a sense of humour. Some more than others obviously but I think they can have emotions and good days and bad days just like us because we are essentially animals. I think it's very easy to forget that just because they can't talk or communicate with us that animals are some kind of lower-grade being but even if they haven't invented air conditioning or the internet they're still capable of amazing things.
I could probably write an entire essay about that but that's not actually what I came to write about today, today's LJ question just surprised me.
I'm here to talk about WORK (what else is new). I dunno if I've said this before, but the way I act around the students researching on the animals I look after is probably due to my inferiority complex because they're all high-end doing intelligent research and I'm essentially a janitor.
But whatever. Today when I was making fish juice upstairs I realized some of the guys who have experiments going on downstairs were working in the lab next to the room I was getting the purified water from. And they had some music on and I was trying to figure out the song they were listening to, I thought I might recognize the beat but it was nothing I knew I liked... and then I realized. and heard the lyrics to what I call "I'm Bringing Sexy Back" but apparently is just called Sexy Back.
Anyway. I found that quite amusing.
