just do it. make some love, make some babies. there's no 'right time' for babies, it might be easier with a few extra dollars, but i wouldn't trade it for the world :)
My daughter was a big 'suprise', but I was happy and excited the minute I found out I was pregnant. No my life wasn't the cookie cutter situation, with the big wedding the new house then the perfectly timed baby.
The only thing I regret was being so nervous to tell my family. Yes I was still living with my parents and going to school. But I was and am an adult, and I am an amazing mom.
If you have that love and desire... no time is a BETTER time!
My desires come and gorhymezerOctober 27 2008, 05:23:53 UTC
I feel you though. iUnno I think less so ever since I was 17 and my girlfriend would seriously fuck with my head by telling me she was pregnant - it was kinda funny the first time, or the second time and by the third time I should have caught on... But yea when ya actually get told that news it really warps your perspectives.
I thought you should watch that Tina Fey Baby Momma drama movie - I saw it twice or three times - never paid once lol. It's kinda random - not the best movie ever but it discusses your feelings I suppose kinda.

wow thats really not cool on the part of your girlfriend...and at 17 that is ESPECIALLY not funny/traumatizing!
i was avoiding the baby mama movie at all costs from the previews, but maybe ill see it! i've become much more of a tina fey fan since her emergence as the new sarah palin
Yea at the time it was really awful and annoying but looking back on it it's kinda funny - as long as I remove myself from the situation.
Yea - I mean the movie was kinda stupid and awkward - I loved it the second time just because I went with a lot of friends and we got in for free and this one friend in particular was just like SOOOO into it. And it was hillarious cuz he's this huge Nigerian guy who gives off this hard vibe - but like he was so into this movie - he's the one that picked it. LOL. And like he was quoting the movie for like a few months afterwards.
Anyways, yea it's great to hear from you - I'm hella good. Just been working at home in the Bay trying to figure out what to do/where to go next. Meh. Usual contemplations I suppose.
What's ya plans besides baby-making after ya finish school?
i know, which is why i am waiting! i wasn't really asking for validation to go ahead and have a baby, i've already made that choice for myself that i'm going to finish college first and get financially stable etc., i really just wanted to share a feeling.
