Grammar Lesson 101 :)
Hi, guys! :) I know that some people on my flist are also fic writers so Im'ma do a little pimping XD Hope you guys will check it out :)
So, bankai_babe, a good friend and one of my betas (which I probably have tainted the reputation of being a grammar nazi because when she sends back the fic I sent for editing, I always add and delete stuffs then edit it again without sending it back to her. I'm so sorry, Jenn.) decided to post something about correct grammar usage. Well not really, since her post mostly talks about sentence construction. I admit that grammar can be a bitch (I have too many flaws on it) and well, when you're a writer wannabe you just write down stuff once inspiration hits. Good plots, characterization, setting, climax and all that are essential to a story but everything's so much better when reading a fic comes smoothly. I'm no grammar nazi but I enjoy fics better when they're well-written. Jenn is such a lovely person for deciding to lend a helping hand. That said, please check her post here. Also, if you find her entry helpful, please be generous in giving her thanks. :)
I'll let you guys know whenever she decides to post more. :) Oh, and just so you know, she's English and an English/Lit major. (I hope i got this right, hahaha!) She does revision so much she already considers it as her oxygen. XD
