Classes...w00t!
Hey all...so this quarter is gonna be great! I'm soooooooo excited for my classes! Yeah I know, I'm a geek...
MUHST 497: A class all about Mahler...apparently he was a pretty messed up guy. Guess I should've known from his music. The professor is a bit of an eccentric old man with a big bushy beard, but he's alright. Could be a lot worse. My favorite part is when he asks rhetorical questions and then waits for an answer. Then he laughs at his own jokes.
CHEM 162: Ok, this class is going to be a lot worse than last quarter, but I think I learned my lesson. It's more important to do well on the tests than on quizzes, homework, and labs. Cuz I did amazing on those and decent on the tests and...see 2 posts ago to see my rant. Ashley's still in this class, so she should be an invaluable resource :)
BIOL 180: Why is it abbreviated BIOL instead of BIO? I don't get it. Anyways, the professor is cool and the class is all about evolution and ecology, which is basically BIOA 201 all over again, so I don't mind at all. We talked at length today about why intelligent design was wrong, but he failed to mention that there are many different theories within intelligent design and kinda lumped them all together into one big gross generalization. Grr. He's gonna e-mail us his personal views on evolution, which I'm actually looking forward to, basically so I can respond and blast him for not recognizing other points of view, hehehe...mwahaha is more like it.
Wind Ensemble: Eh. Hate the music. Except for the Mambo. That's fun. I actually play regular bassoon on most songs now! Yay!
Lessons: Start on Monday. I really need to practice...maybe tomorrow, hahaha.
So basically I'm done at 1:30 every day, then I have Wind Ensemble Tues and Thurs. I really hope they don't ask me to be in Orchestra. I don't know if I could handle it at this point. Thursday I only have chem at 10:30 then WE at 3:30, so yay for short days! w00t! Ok, I better go catch the bus. See you bitches later :)
