2007...may the good times roll!

Wow, it's 2007! Crazyness! I'm so glad that 2006 is over with, now it's time to get 2007 going and make it an even better year than 2006...w00t!

So I know it's been forever since I've updated, but don't complain cuz I am now. Happy, mofos?

First of all, what happened to Paul is 2006? (Yay! Happy list time!):

- Started working at the SBUX! This was after Dinners Ready, which, after I left the way I did, was soooo glad to find a job that actually wanted me and respected me as a person. (If you don't know, DR left me a message saying that I didn't need to come in anymore and never bothered to give me any more details than "we're downsizing our part-time employees"...sad I know) SBUX hired me after one interview, which supposedly never happens, so that made me uber-excited. I love the people there and it's such a fun environment to work in. The money may not be the best, but it's a job and I love it.

- School has been ok...switched from Oceanography to Biology after I realized how limiting oceanography was. So now I am pursuing a really open-ended degree that I don't know what kind of job I want to get with it, and on top of all that, I'm not exactly getting the best grades. Music is almost over, which is so exciting, and I decided to just go for a BA rather than a BM, which is a lot easier, so it makes for a lighter load of classes.

- I enjoyed a brief stint with ASM from January to about October, and I left due to scheduling problems and personal conflicts, but all in all it was a great time. I might even go with the youth group to Rock Ridge Canyon this January, but don't know for sure yet. Love all the kids there and wish I didn't have to leave.

- Friends have come and gone, but some have really been there. Most of my high school friends have kinda gone their own ways, but that's alright. The quality ones have stuck around :) UW friends are pretty cool too, heehee.

For 2007, I toast towards a great year of fun times with friends, great financial advancement (I might buy a car soon!), and educational success (maybe some good grades?). Happy New Year!
