SIX LING RUSH
Dan wanted to play starcraft, so back into an old favorite I delved. He screwed it up for us though, by repeatedly attemptint to use hacked CD keys to sign on. Long story short, the only server we can play on is Europe. That's ok, I don't really need to talk anyway.
He played me six times. I won six times :). Somehow, even after years after playing Jason and years more before that, I still remember everything. I remember when to build more supply for each race, working strategies for each, timing, where to put what buildings, and what constitutes even small weaknesses in my opponents play.
Of course, I had another friend and many online posters saying how much better European gamers are, so of couse I had to test the water. In my first game 2v2 with some random partner, my ally asked me if I was noob for getting a certain unit in that matchup. Then, his crappy european connection (what do some of these people use, wooden modems?) dropped him and I was 1v2.
I won anyway.
And yes, I'm still studying accounting, and getting better at it. High scores on each section to date:
BEC: 74%
AUD: 72% (I consider that one lucky)
FIN: 56% :(. SOMEONE HELP ME OUT T_T. I will do things. Good things.
Reg: 68%
My initial scores being around 50 in all sections except 44's and 38's in FIN, you'd have to admit that it's helped somewhat. A 12% raise in average ain't bad, although if I continue to struggle in financial I really will have to call in some help.
