Ok last night I went to meet a friend from work and some of her friends at this Holiday Inn in Burbank. For those who don't know, Burbank is one of the towns in the San Fernando Valley. The Valley, as they call it. Where Valley Girls are from. Where P.T. Anderson films all his movies. We went to the hotel lounge to do some bad ass karaoke. Let me tell you - nothing has ever been more entertaining or pathetic since I moved to LA. I had SUCH a great time! I want to do that again! I felt like I was in some deleted scene from Magnolia. It was really like something I had only ever seen on TV or in the meuvies. Ha. And I rocked! I sang Tainted Love. My co-worker is the funniest though. She sang some song by like Destiny's Children or something. She dances like a dance killa. Yo.
Right now I am watching a little Sunday morning TV. In one minute I am oging to be flipping back and forth between something about who built Stonehenge on National Geographic and something about some ancient city/civilization in the Midlands of Britain. But up till this point I have been watching Wet Hot American Summer, which is first of all a brilliant movie, but also it is great because it reminds me of my 400 pound gorilla, I mean cousin, Macro, who made me watch it this summer. Thank you Macro for showing me the way.....
