Herb gardens

I'm working on my list of herbs I'd like to grow and it's 9 herbs long! I'm not sure I'll have room for that many and it might be a bit too ambitious for starting out.

So when you think of herb gardens, indoor or out, what are the top 5 herbs you think of? I'm hoping it might help a bit with my list :)
