Top Jpop & Kpop singles of 2014
6th year in a row of doing this! I said that I would keep up throughout the year which I sort of did, but I kind of rushed and gathered all the info together just last month (December).

AAA "SHOW TIME"
Excellent song. Great pv. The girls don't get to sing much though.
Arashi "Dare Mo Shiranai"
Out of their singles for this year, I would have to choose this one. Different dance moves... and different concept for music video - time countdown although in one set.
Eric Nam "Melt My Heart"
I feel this kind of song is more suited to Eric's voice in comparison to "Ooh Ooh". Lovely winter song.
Hey! Say! JUMP "Aino Arika"
Up beat song with rap twist for bridge. Music video was pretty cool with orchestra and everyone getting lines, notably Kei and Keito!
Hey! Say! JUMP "Ashita no Yell"
Traditional JE move where the focus is on Yuto since it's for his drama. I love the outfits, setting, dance moves, and song itself. Excellent HSJ work.
Lead "Omoide Bureka"
That leg dance! Been waiting for a single like this since Hiroki graduated. Love the style for the pv and the song itself! I remember when we saw it performed for the first time at the anniversary party.
Matsushita Yuya "Slow Dancin'"
My kind of Yuya song, a sad ballad. 2014 was the last year of Matsushita Yuya as a solo artist! I'll be hopeful for the x4 debut single but it won't be the same... T_T I liked this more than "She's a Liar" which was more R&B influenced.
PrizmaX "take me"
Love this melancholy tune. Win's bridge and Daiki's rap. English verses!
U-KISS "Break Up"
This song grew on me as I watched the pv more and more. HOT pv. I am so jealous of that girl especially with Kevin. All of the boys are looking amazing but I miss AJ! I love that gold cardigan on Hoon. The outfits are amazing and love the dance during the bridge. I can do both of Eli's raps!
U-KISS "Love On U"
This song grew on me as well. First Japanese single with Jun! The close up shots of him are yabai. Seems like with the latest album and this single, there is a Eli and Kevin or Elvin unit going on.
U-KISS "Quit Playing/Don't Flirt"
Fell in love with this song even with the teaser, but not a fan of the pv! The boys look amazing but I was super jealous of the girls, for some reason especially of the one with Kiseop and Hoon. Jun's debut pv! One of my favorite Korean songs by U-KISS.
