(no subject)
on my birthday, i have an email etiquette seminar for two hours. apparently it in involves reading aloud.
not working = yay.
being forced to read aloud = boo.
i also have a meeting with my boss and his boss that day to discuss where our projects currently are.
my boss is definitely strange. his boss seems to be a bit strange too.
being perhaps a little strange, i am alright with strange people, but it just gets weird when no one really knows what to say.
i'm imagining that i will also have a departmental meeting with my boss and the other half of the department. the meeting was initially supposed to be monday (as was the aforementioned meeting), but my boss postponed it and hasn't rescheduled it.
i haven't been too enthusiastic about going to work lately. i don't dread it, it's just been boring lately. i find myself going to talk to the coworker next to me and then i find myself not doing much work because of it.
things are supposed to get busier soon, so hopefully i will be more occupied.
and hopefully my boss will follow up with me on things he asked me to do, or start to do. i don't like having to go after him with questions. and i definitely don't like not having specific things to do with my time.
