I hate my intarwebs
My internet connection goes out sporadically. But it doesn't just boot me offline - it just pretends that it's a freshman fratboy and starts chugging data like crazy, and then pukes them all up five minutes later. For about five minutes, I'll have zero connectivity - then suddenly, everything floods in all at once. AIM won't boot me off, nor will IRC, and whatever I missed during those five minutes suddenly waterfalls on me.

Since I'm a web designer by trade, work has to proceed in 15 minute bursts, in which I try to accomplish as much as I can. When I suddenly can't upload a file or see my latest changes, I know that I'm down for the next five minutes. If I smoked, I'd go on the balcony for a smoke-break. As it is, I just scream and throw things at the wall.
I really wish I knew what was causing this, but I go to UTD and am therefore useless.
