Help! I've got some nasties on my laptop! :(
When some popups kept popping up I became suspicious. I ran Spybot and it detected DoubleD but couldn't purge it. It told me to run Spybot as Administrator but I was already running it as Administrator. Norton AV didn't detect anything.
I did a google search and found ExterminateIt!, a virus/spyware removal program. It's finding more crap than Spybot did: DoubleD, Desktop Smiley, and Agent.
ExterminateIt! runs a free scan to find the problems but you have to pay for $25 annual subscription to get rid of the problems.
Recomendations? Sympathies?
