OMG season 4 is a total angst-fest, but I loved it. I love how the show is consistent with characterization, and the writing is superb.

4.03 In the Beginning - Wow. Just wow. Now we know. Sam and Dean's mom was a hunter - did not see that coming
I was quite annoyed at Mary for not giving John and the boys a clue as to what she got them into.

4x01 - I really thought he was still in hell for at least the first 5 minutes! Also, on the location tour - we went to the place that gas station was built... :D

4x02 - I LOVED that line! Castiel is such a cool angel isn't he?

4x03 - The bit when Mary tells Dean the worst thing she can imagine for her children? BROKE MY HEART! She was such a good actress, and so perfect for the part!

4x04 - I really liked this one, it's actually one of my favourites, but I'm in the minority a bit there...

I'm trying to think which episodes are next... I know you're in for a treat though, there were very few episodes in season 4 I didn't love! I'll be very interested to see what you think of the next 4...

Yeah, in 4x01, I couldn't believe it was that easy for Dean to get out of hell until Castiel entered the picture.
