Renewing my Norton AV subscription has always given me headaches so why did I think it would be different this time? The renewal code they gave me doesn't work. The help page pops up in IE (which I LOATHE) by default (gag me). I have been waiting for 5 minutes getting the email page to load because the chat program was going to take 20 minutes to download (curses dialup). /rant
Why is this so hard? *cries*
ETA: I just spent the last 30 minutes in a live chat with Norton Tech support. The tech's name was Arnand, and he enabled the remote control function so he could fix Norton on my computer. It was trippy watching my mouse move on the screen and me not moving it. *g* Apparently, it was a matter of inputting the product key and not the renewal code. Who knew.
I have the same Norton AV installed on my laptop. Crossing fingers that this solution works on that as well.
1. Go to your profile and copy your list of friends.
2. Bold those you've met in person.
3. Italicize those you've spoken to on the phone.
