[Akame] Steadfast - Prologue

Summary: JE found out that Akanishi Jin and Kamenashi Kazuya have been living together for the past five years. As a consequence, they were given an ultimatum. A choice between breaking up but staying in KAT-TUN or staying together but one of them has to leave the group. They chose the second option and this story follows what happened after that.

It's my first try in writing an Akame fic dakara yoroshiku onegaishimasu. *bows*
PROLOGUENext Chapter
Theirs was a love that spanned through time and survived adversities. Despite of tears, pain and sadness, they stood alongside each other, never letting go of the other's hands. They proved wrong all people who thought they would not last long. They fought for acceptance and respect with the support of their families and closest friends. But there seemed to be people who are only intending on breaking them apart. They are facing another hurdle and it would be harder than the previous ones. It would test not only their love for each other but also their trust, loyalty and patience. If they survive this, no one would argue that they really do belong together. But will they?
I’m going to miss you, Kazu,” Jin said as he hugged Kazuya. He buried his nose deep in those brown tresses trying to memorize the scent that was his Kazuya. It would be months before they would see each other again. He hugged him tighter, not wanting to let go.
Kazuya stifled his sobs and tried to hold back the tears but the way Jin was holding him crumbled his resolves. It would be long before those arms will hold him again. He wouldn’t have Jin beside him every night. Just thinking about living without Jin even for a few months is already killing him. He can’t help it… He’s crying his heart out now. When Jin heard Kazuya sobbed, he felt like his heart was breaking into pieces. Seeing Kazuya cry is one of his weakness.
Jin gritted his teeth. 'Why do we have to go through this?' he thought.
The two of them have been reprimanded year after year for showing too much of their affection. But these past years, they haven't even as near to each other as they want to when in front of the camera. And then one day, they were called for a meeting to announce that he will be going solo and will be leaving KAT-TUN. The reason: Management wind up with the information that they have been living together for the past five years. And they were given a choice: One of them will leave the group or stay in KAT-TUN but they would break up.
