[Junda] Love and Sorcery

Summary: Junno is looking for a spell to make Tatsuya fall in love with him.

A/N: Written for jubelcinta who requested for a magical JUNDA in $1-for-a-drabble in help_pilipinas.
A two-storey house painted in white with chocolate brown trim and surrounded by a simple stone wall with wooden gate. Inside, a short driveway lined with blue fragrant lavender leads to a plain oak door. The interior is a wide expanse and high ceiling designed with modern yet functional furniture. Nothing out of the ordinary.
The living room opens to a back garden where a young man with short black hair, dressed in t-shirt and trousers, can be seen relaxing on a hammock under a palm tree with a book. It's not unusual too unless you look closer. There's only one palm tree and yet the hammock is in mid-air. The hands that were supposed to be holding the book and turning the pages are tucked comfortably at the back of his head.
If that was not odd enough, in one of the rooms on the second floor confines another young man wearing a... dress? A night gown? That's what it seemed like as it reached around mid-calf and decorated with sun, stars, moon... err... the whole solar system. As if the dress isn't weird enough, he was also talking to a man in the mirror. And no, it wasn't the nose that looks weird, it was because the image... or the man... inside the mirror talks back.
"Junno, I told you that it's better to just confess to Tacchan," the man in the mirror said.
"Do you want me to vanish from the face of the earth? Maru, Uepi is a powerful sorcerer. He can turn me into air if he wants to," Junno replied while scanning a thick book of incantations.
"How does that relate to confessing? You're just going to tell him you like him. Why do you need a spell to do that? It's ridiculous and it's wasting my study time," Maru said pushing up his glasses.
Junno slumped on one of the chairs and with a small voice said, "Because I don't want to be rejected. If Uepi doesn't like me, I won't be able to stay here anymore."
"Whatever, it's a stupid idea. It's still better to just confess and I'm sure Tacchan isn't a heartless person to just kick you out of the house. And what are you gonna do? Continuing putting him under a spell so that he'll continue to like you? Because you cannot make someone fall in love with you through magic."
After his lengthy speech, Maru disappeared from the mirror leaving Junno with a sad face and confused mind. He was absent-mindedly twirling his wand while murmuring to himself. Next thing he knew, there was a loud explosion leaving a big hole on his wall.
Downstairs, Ueda Tatsuya, the black-haired young man on the hammock, is enjoying his day under the shade of a tree with cool breeze around him. So much for the good stuff though because his peace and quiet was shattered by a loud explosion on the second floor of his home.
"JUNNOSUKE!" he shouted. 'He must be doing some weird experiments again,' he thought. But when the tall man didn't respond, Tatsuya got worried and climbed up to Junno's room. Barging into the Junno's room, he found the young man in tattered night gown, frizzed hair and smudged face.
"What the hell happened here?!" Tatsuya asked in a harsh tone to mask his concern for the younger man. "And I want the truth, Junno."
"I... I-I was thinking whether..." Junno hesitated but the firm look on Tatsuya's eyes made him continue. "I was thinking... whether... I should... confessoruseaspellonyou... and then next thing I know there was an explosion."
Junno cringed in fear when the other man narrowed his eyes, looking at him intently. He only relaxed when Tatsuya sighed and shook his head.
"Baka! You were experimenting all this time for that? You could have gotten your YES if you confessed already," Tatsuya said as he walk out the door leaving Junno with his jaw on the floor.
When the words sunk into his head, he let out a goofy grin before rushing after Tatsuya.
