Dylan and his brigade are off to Afghanistan. I'm worried and anxious, yet proud of what he has made of himself. He's in a Brigade Support Battalion (BSB) rather than a Combat Team, however both convoys and patrols are subject to ambush and attack. The Army provides multiple channels to keep in touch and we'll all be using them. In the meantime I'm making myself even more educated about counter-insurgency as well as the players in theatre.
