(no subject)
hmmmm....damn.... the last 2-3 weeks have been RIDICULOUS!! I've been on a bit of a rollercoaster. i got back to smoking. i got a girlfriend (welllll....yeah, ok.). a new "kinda best friend". riding my bike to ridiculous destinations. a new favourite show. the beginning stages of a new crew that would undoubtedly fit nicely with this one.
my buddy tobe told me the BEST vacation story ever. i'll spare the details....but it includes massive amounts of cocaine and weed....being hustled by 2 prostitutes.....2 more friendlier prostitutes...a rental car and a deed so disgusting and vile that the very thought of it makes me gag.
i went trail riding w/ a couple of friends at the rouge and clocked in 30km....i thought that was pretty good...until we pretty much doubled it yesterday . somehow i ended up doing circles around scarborough and ending up on Sheppard and Bayview. the other day it was McCowan and Hwy7. nuts. the training for the "Race to Union Station" has been fun and there's no doubt my team will win.
so i've been seeing this girl melissa. super sweet girl. to give an idea of the type of girl she is: we went for a long drive one time and she sniffed. ya know, the kind of sniff when you have a mild runny nose. so then I sniffed. and then she sniffed. then it turned into a "whoever sniffs last wins" without ever exchanging words. then we burst out laughing. like, she just got it. not a big deal...but a big deal to me. the other night I came over her place and watched 2 Filipino movies....i had to do some translating...but it was cool.
now, this other girl, jess. im feeling a mild jealousy from her. we're just friends...but for some reason she's been acting funny since mel came into the picture. like, REAL funny....touchy-feely funny. spending 4 days in a row going to beaches and unionville watching the sunset funny. like, buying me dinner twice in a week, funny. like, late night phone calls funny. like, "im coming to your house as soon as I get off work" funny. but oh well...im good.
i went to an interview on monday. Master Control Operator for Bell XpressVue. basically I get to watch a wall of 400 tvs and make sure the signals are fine. NUTS. its a serious job. im not qualified...but If I get it....all my problems are GONE!! DONE!!! All bases covered for the best mother fuckin summer EVER!! it looks promising. im praying...im getting people to pray.......im just hopeful. realistic and hopeful.
hmmmm....what else. OH...i got two gigs to shoot and edit events.....they're good enough to help me comfortably coast through the summer....but I want more more MORE!! I've spent at least 5-6hrs OUTDOORS since monday.....Im soooooo friggin tanned. I love the sun.
SUMMER is when I come into form. I feel the most like Paulo when its summertime. Yesterday, I put together a killer surfer outfit....yes, that sounds gay....but the outfit is killer. Im wearing my sandals ALL day now......the summer clothes have warmed up and stretched for the looooong run. My repertoire of FREE places to have more fun than clubs and bars have grown double. Ive found 3 other places to park the car and listen to 97.3 and 98.1 - which has got be one of my favourite things to do. Im set.
