What did you think about the Superman movie? I had nothing to compare it to as far as seeing the older ones. So, I didn't know what to say on some of those questions.;) Not to mention, I have to say that I am more of a Spiderman fan.;) I don't know! It just bugged us. lol. It seemed so... sissy like. lol. It just was something we picked at with watching it!;) Its sad when they drag moral through the dirt.:P Its the same way with the new Jane Eyre. They cheapened her, and for that, I couldn't like it. So, if you haven't seen it, I wouldn't recommend it! It is sad how they are looking in the wrong direction. Its the same way when you see kids who have tattooed or pierced themselves a ton, looking to stand out, searching in all the wrong directions. It makes my heart break! I wish I knew how better to point them in the direction they need to be in, to help them in their quest. That is cool that he is part Cherokee! Bethany wanted to be a Native American when she was young.;) My grandpa would tell us that we had some Cherokee in us, though it wasn't much.
I obviously didn't think it was as 'bad' as you girls thought it was. :) It was enjoyable the first time I went to watch it...you know...typical action movie. As I mentioned to Bethany, I'm not much of a Spiderman fan at all...I found the movies, too much of a 'right off' from other action and superhero movies. Plus too many different, weird 'evil villans' appear. To my liking...all in all, much too fiction. It wasn't original enough for me.
I haven't read any Jane Eyre books or seen any movies so I can't judge. :) Its so sad and annoying when they lower a character's moral standards. *grr*
Lost kids who obviously look lost are sad to behold. My friend who recently started going to school after homeschooling most of his life was talking about the whole 'school experience' and he said that some times you'll be walking along the corridor and you'll see some kid sitting slumped in a corner trying to slit their wrists, its so so sad. We all need a saviour. Christ!
Lol I used to play cowboy's and indian's when I was young...all the way up until I was 12 or 13 actually (yes I was a bit of a tomboy :D) and I used to want to be an indian. The girls say when I put my hair in plats I look a lot like one...heheh but I have not made a habit of wearing my hair in two plats. *grin* Our grandfather is part American Indian, Cheroke also, and he definitely looks like an old indian cheif. But Dad is adopted so non of that runs in our blood as far as I know...you never can tell though. ;) I'm really into eyes and hands and hair (don't ask...*weird*). And I've come to notice different races' eyes and hand structure and I've found that the majority of Native Indian's eyes are very stunning. Really dark, framed in thick, thick eye lashes...and their hair is also thick and black...love it! I'm weird I know...I acutally have ONE friend who is 'into' eyes and hands too, so I don't feel so much of a loner on that topic. lol
