For quite some time last night and tonight, I was trying to figure out why I couldn't log into KDE. I would put in my password, and it would look like it was about to log me in, then all of a sudden it would kick me right back to the login prompt. OMFG! I can't believe we thought S-Video wouldn't look too bad hooked up to a projector, since it's supposedly significantly better than coaxial. The main problem was that it's a lot cheaper to get long S-Video cords than long VGA cords, so we were using S-Video for our stuff. We just compared the quality of the VGA versus the S-Video. nearby and I just saw this exhibit at the Museum of Science. It was sooo cool. They had real human bodies, preserved through plastination, dissected and on display for all paying customers to see. Seeing real human organs in person has a larger impact than just seeing them through pictures. You get to see up close how healthy lungs compare to a coal ( Read more... )
