Ok, the beard is getting a little ridiculous now. I need a beard trimmer, or I should suck it up and start experimenting with wacky facial hair by whittling it down. You know--work with negative space.
I dipped into Ecce Homo for the first serious time today, and I love it. If the N-dog lived in modern times and had a self-indulgent blog, it would be Ecce Homo--I wish I could stop time and read it cover to cover. He leaps off the page.
It's funny how even the psychological parts of Nietzsche, which I pass over quickly with the thought "there is no empirical verification of this...", become second-nature in my own folk psychology. I'm employing it all the time.
And it's funny how when power and who has it and what it's good for has been one of the themes of the past month, I come upon the part of the syllabus about the will to power--this week, power, and the need for it, I guess, will be explained.
I'm going to drop Information Theory, but keep vagabonding it. The content is fascinating and amazing--the homework just smacks me in the face once a week.
Enough for now--I want to keep things brief.
