John Fitzgerald Kennedy

If I have my date right, today is the 45th anniversary of JFK's assassination. Ironically, five years ago today at 1:00, Gavin and I were standing at his gravesite. I believe 1:00 is the time he was pronounced dead. I'm a little iffy on that but I remember when I was there in 2003, Jack Martin and I spoke and he told me that. Where did the time go? I'm just as surprised at the five year lapse as I am the 45 year time line.

I was awakened at 9:00 by Linda not being able to open my screen door to put her laundry on my porch. I made a point of not locking it. I told her it was open and then she tried again and told me to go back to sleep. Well, at that point, that ship had sailed. She is rehearsing for the play at church most of the weekend and asked if, instead of paying her back the scrapbooking fee from last week, I would wash and dry her clothes. I have no plans anyway.

I have a little sore throat. It feels like allergies. I will just wait it out. I'm sure it won't go too far.

I spoke to Bob Gibbs last night. We talked a little about his health and the wonderful visit he had with his daughter, Kathy. Then he asked if I had ever heard of a website called Youporn. Dang, for free, it's very interesting.

Eggs and toast are calling. I must make some. Trying to get out of bed. Where is that maid with my breakfast.

I must be lonely - last night I talked to the solicitor from Orlando Sentinel for 15 minutes. I probably screwed up his quota for the night. Printed newspapers are fast-becoming a thing of the past.
