Back in high school...

Back in high school I was a part of this group of group of guy friends who called ourselves, the "asshole brothers". Together we dealt with the death and loss of close friends and even members of our family. We would spend hours upon hours planning our great escape, skipping school, getting totally plastered just hours before some school event, plotting ways to get rid of "certain" folk (ie: Operation: G.R.O.M.) and countless instances where frankly we just didn't seem to get along. But I still hold onto a lot of great memories I shared with these guys. I try not to focus on the not-so-great times. Instead I just try to think only about the good times we shared. And when I look back now, I feel honored that I got to be a member of such a oddly composed group of dudes. So to pay homage to them and as a way to flashback to my salad days, i've created what i'd consider the soundtrack to our friendship. Using mostly popular hits by some of the 90's most beloved artists.

the ASShole BROther mix
Bush - Everything Zen
Tripping Daisy - I Got A Girl
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Superdrag - Sucked Out
Weezer - El Scorcho
Foo Fighters - This Is a Call
the Offspring - Self-Esteen
Green Day - Geek Stink Breath
the Living End - Prisoner of Society
D-Generation - Every Mother's Son
The Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
Rage Against the Machine - Bulls On Parade
At The Drive In - Pattern Against User
Hot Rod Circuit - Supersad
Samiam - Capsized
Jimmy Eat World - A Praise Chorus
Oasis - Champagne Supernova

The ASSHOLE BROTHERS were and will always be...
Matt Masely
Stevie Nowinsky
Chris Miller
Chris W.
Chris McCune
Now we haven't been seen as a group since we've graduated High School. And most of us have remained friends actually, they all still speak to one another from what i've been told. They've even made attempts at having a reunion of sorts on a few occassions but guess which asshole is most reluctant to participate... yeah!
