The Road To Hell Is Paved With More Than Just Good Intentions [poems 31/37?]

The Road To Hell Is Paved With More Than Just Good Intentions

A feather dangled so neatly in that deceptively dark temptress’ hands

Leading that little lost lonely elephant astray

That wished only to fly

But instead, it is their large heads

That send them crashing to the ground

And the holes that open in their wake

Reek of destruction and annihilation

And are known by the raging souls

Gathered about them

The road to hell,

That wide inviting path

Is paved with more than just good intentions

There are lies,

And the ending of brotherhood,

Too
