you better run all day and run all night

Just got back from a 3.24 mile run! I did it in about 42 minutes which is pretty good for me. Interesting to note that the last few times I've gone running, I end up having pains and soreness in the bottom of my feet that lasts for a few days - even with proper warm up/cool down/stretching. It's tough to describe but while walking, it would be a really sharp pain directly on the bottom of my foot, like in my arch.

I originally thought it was because my workout shoes were worn out. I primarily wear them inside but I do wear them outside, for running (obviously) and have worn them for hiking and other similar things. Makes sense, but it would never hurt while working out inside - only outside, and then for a few days afterwards. So, I decided to take a break from running and figured it was something I was doing wrong/the city terrain. I decided to go today because it's really nice out and I didn't want to spend the whole day inside watching TV. Lo and behold, my feet don't hurt! I'm not sure if it's directly because of the YRG I've been doing or something completely unrelated, but either way... my feet don't hurt AND I had a good run! Yay!
