I'm starting to really appreciate Saturdays.

First, I love that I'm home by myself. Well, technically speaking it's just me and the kitty. Joe gets more alone/house to himself time than I do because he gets home from work before me. Although I leave AFTER he does for work, so maybe it's really the same and it just seems like it's skewed. Either way.

I love that I don't have to report to anyone or let anyone know of my whereabouts or what my plan is for the day. Hell, I love that I don't really have to have a plan for the day. I love that I can veg in front of the TV all day.. or leave it off and read a book. Or dick around. Or go out. Or do a little of everything (like today). Mostly, though, I love the quiet. My work is very hectic and since I am basically the entire sales team in a small company, I spend 90 percent of the day listening and talking to customers and coworkers. Sometimes at the same time. Sometimes, when I get home, I just sit in the car for a few minutes and listen to the bird chirp and the traffic drive by. Joe gives me time to unwind when I get home, but now that I'm consumed with homework, it's nice to just.. sit, with no one talking to/at/near/about me.

Funny thing is, I'm a very social person and love going out and being around other people. I guess it's nice to be able to just chill and hit the reset button so I can continue being the happy and smiley person that I am.
