The replacement "duck-like" shoes I ordered from Lands End some months ago (a convoluted return process elided) fit! Hoorah! And before I left for England, which is what they were intended for. So I'm working on breaking them in.
The kitchen is clean. Taking bunches of broken down cardboard & boxes to the trash, so I can vacuum the living room.
A kind and generous friend has offered to pay my COBRA bill for the past 4 months, so I can get caught up. What a huge present!
And, Duncan's train is on time! (More or less -- about 15 minutes behind as of 10 minutes ago.) so I can go get him soon!
