Getting past 90% project Queen
Those of you who know me well know that I get lots of projects either started and then slacked off, or buy the stuff for it and then don't get around to it.
Well --
I've been staring at the cans of paint and the bookcases, and switched on the DIY channel instead of movies, and got the walls that I had primed before rather than completely painted. So tonight I can move the 4 bookshelves that have been just hanging around into their intended location, and then get the rest of the way around the room and the dining room and finish putting up the art and the bookshelves. And, by the way, putting the books in the bookcases so that a) I get them done, and b) I have room for my BIL Doug to stay when he gets here after Thanksgiving!
And I love the warm brown bookshelves against the peach wall.
Plus, with JBJ moving into the house in December, I have to get my house here in order.
I love the brighter peach compared to the mushroom on the walls (pre-primed spots). Here's a picture -- not my house, but a sample.
