I know why I have tried so hard to forget the exact date of Challenger

It's because my mother had been dead almost exactly 3 years; she died at about 1 am, EST, on 29 Jan 1982.
Do you have anniversary issues? A friend of mine always gets twitchy on the anniversary of her husband's death; I get twitchy on and around the deaths of my parents (Jan, 1982, and Halloween, 1997).
Somehow my brain is now sort of scrambled. The Challenger thing, which I've been thinking about remotely for a day or two, has slammed into my head and now it's scrambled eggs instead of thoughts.
Lunar New Year is on the 29th this year. We're having a Chinese New Year's party on Saturday. I think we'll raise a glass. It's the right thing to do.
