[Cat Fu] One problem solved, anyway...

Drake had been eating all the other cats' food. This was a big problem, as he was gaining weight at a rapid pace. The vet recommended that we feed them separately.

OK, I did that, putting Drake in a separate room from the others to eat. He was eating all his food, as always, but the other cats were leaving the majority of their food behind, even after an hour or so. Bad juju -- I had to put the uneaten food away when I let him out, according to the vet. "They'll learn," says the vet.

Ronin and Strider were hungry, and consequently very, very grumpy. The food I had been feeding them had disappeared while I was in Austin. I figured I'd feed everybody the same stuff for a few days until I can get to the store and get some more of the regular indoor cat food. (I have 3 containers of cat food now: Outdoor, indoor, and Drake.)

Today, after a day of cats fighting, I decided to give the inside boys the outside food in the hope that they would eat.

Boy, did they. After about 40 minutes, every speck was gone. They didn't like the Drake Food!!

I let Drake out early. Hoorah!

My bad, clearly. To the store tomorrow.
