ARIES:
Slow down your reactions or you may get yourself into a heap of trouble today as you go about your activities. Be careful if you are thinking about trying something new because you are bored with your current situation. Your impulsive attraction to the unknown is stronger than usual, so it's best to remind yourself of what you have instead of just coveting what you don't.
After reading this horoscope yesterday morning, I knew something big was going to happen. I'm real big into reading those things even if it makes me look like a total flamer. Well anyway....I've been considering the idea of a scooter mainly because of the soaring gas prices. Brian informed me that his bike did 110 miles to the gallon. I'm still floored by that. My truck gets about 15 miles to the gallon. Maybe 20 on the highway. I can't afford the gas prices anymore. I need another job to help me make ends meet. I need something reliable and something that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
I asked Brian to help me with riding a scooter. I figured if I'm wanting to invest in one, I should probably learn how to ride one. We met up after the Spurs game and went to the old Target parking lot to practice. There was a security guard driving around and he drove up to see what we were doing. Brian told him we were there because he wanted to teach me to ride. He said to be careful and drove off and the lesson began.
It started off really smooth. I was riding around with no problems at all. Riding all over the parking lot and having a blast. I was really proud of myself and was feeling overconfident. That was probably my biggest mistake as I gave the scooter more gas and tried to make a left handed turn. I guess it was so wide that I ended up jumping the mini curb dead on into the old Target building. I attempted to stop like I would a regular bike; with my feet on the ground. I felt I was going to hit the wall and stuck my right boot out to take the blow to the wall. I didn't fly forward like I expected and didn't bash my head into the wall (which is good because I wasn't wearing a helmet). My leg smashed first into the wall and from the look of it...I assumed my ankle was shattered in pieces. My leg was all sorts of crooked under the bike and against the wall. I saw Brian run over and I picked myself off the ground. I felt sore, but everything seemed to be fine. My foot and my leg were all in one piece. No broken bones, just some minor bruising. The bike wasn't in terrible shape either. The tire was flat and there was a dent in the front. But nothing extremely serious. I'm thankful I was able to walk away with no extremely serious damage. I've never felt more alive then I do now. I thank God for keeping me safe today. It could have been worse. It makes me think I'm meant to be here for some unknown reason.
My leg is getting more and more sore as I type this and the bruises are starting to appear more and more, but it isn't anything I can't handle right now. I'll see how it feels later on. If it starts bothering me more, I guess I'm seeing the doctor again haha. I swear...I'm never getting out of debt. Regardless of all that happened today, I'm more dead set about getting a bike. I had an awesome time and an awesome day, despite feeling bad for wreckin' Brian's bike. It felt amazing just to ride even if the outcome ended with me crashing. So if anyone knows anyone willing to make a good trade for a muscle car for a bike, push them in my direction. Thanks.
