Chapter 2: An Intercity Disco

Apr 29, 2008 20:03

Today was the first of what I'm sure will be many trips to North Bay. It wasn't much, we went for lunch, someone went tanning and then we went to the mall. Things have changed since I last visited the mall, but nothing too major has happened.
During my lunch, I was sucking on a piece of ice to busy myself while the food was being prepared. I'm not sure how but the ice fell out of my mouth and onto the table. Now I did what I always do when I screw up, I laughed. Some old guy across at another table gave me the DIRTIEST of looks, and not just a glance, a full on glare! I met his glare with my "what do you want?" look, and after another solid 5 seconds of glaring, he look away. OH MAN did he boil my blood! Buddy, I'm not captain prim and propper, I'm flawed, and I don't need some old bushwhacker staring my down because I dropped a bit of ice... I'm still irrate about it! Some day I'm gonna face my fear and actually talk it out with a stranger... Someday...
