I don't get it.

At the ranch, authorities say, men routinely took multiple wives, and girls as young as 13 were forced into sexual relationships with adult men."
Then I get to this part that's the big "WTF?" for me:
"We are aware this group is capable of it," Doran said. "But, there again, this is the United States. We are going to respect them -- we are not going to violate their civil rights -- until we have an outcry, a complaint, and I've said that from day one."
So adult men having sex with underage girls is a "civil right" when it's done under the auspices of a religion? But when it's done by trolling MySpace, those men are just nasty pedophiles? Say what now? I don't see any room for a double standard here. Middle-aged men taking teenage girls to bed is wrong and illegal no matter what justification is behind it.
