"He's asking for it," Russel says with a quick, almost disinterested, glance at the pub brawl in progress.
"Perhaps - " he murmurs. Because it does look an awful lot like the kid's trying to get himself killed, but Patrick's not quite sure if that is what he's asking for.
"Stay out of it," his mate warns him as he notices the look that crosses Patrick's face. "It's none of your business."
Patrick smirks as he spots the knife and rises from his chair without hesitation. "Reckon it's about time I make it mine then."
