other things this week
-- Mike and I went to the American Idols Live concert Tuesday night. Despite being distracted by the Maggie situation, it was still a very good show. The highlights for me:

To be fair, Katharine was quite good as well, there's just something about her I can't quite warm up to. She was one of my very favorites in the top 24, but... I don't know.
-- I had two cavities filled Wednesday morning. Overall, it went very well... just some swelling, and pain from where the needles went in. I have to go back on Sept. 18 to get more filled (yeah, I have a lot... probably a Diabetes thing, because I take pretty good care of my teeth).
-- I got a phone call from Gabbie (my Sam & Louis partner in crime) Wednesday evening, and she called from in the future... hee hee (it was Thursday morning in Australia). It was so nice to get to talk to her. What a sweet person she is -- her friendship and partnership has been such a blessing.
-- Sam Watters and Tamyra Gray were married in Italy this week. Congrats to them.
