I'm finally here
Well, after what felt like a million and a half hours, I'm finally with Bella. She came to pick me up at the airport along with the little ones. They're just so cute :) They were jumping all over me and making me buy them candy on our way through the airport.
It's really early in the morning right now and Bella is getting ready to go visit her dad again. Bella and her mom are switching again so her mom can come home and sleep some. They finally know what's wrong with her dad...heart failure. Bella said that she's glad that she's not a medical person because knowing what all this means might just scare her more. I definitely agree with her there!
Just seeing Bella though made me feel a little bit better. I was finally able to give her that big hug I wanted to give her since I came home the other night. After the kids wore off their sugar high and were able to fall asleep, Bella and I just relaxed in the living room.
I held her as tight as I could while she let down the brave exterior that she needs to keep for the kids and I basically just listened while she got everything out.
