A "Funny" Thing Happened Yesterday
Really? Do tell... Yesterday, disaster struck - I managed to screw up the database I was working on, rendering the main table of data impossible to access directly. Hooray for back-ups, however - I only lost half a morning's work, and today, it became clear what caused the error, so I won't be doing that again!
On a considerably more positive note, Monday should bring the news I've been waiting to hear - the official word on what happens, work-wise, at the end of this month. The future of "New Work" has been weighing on my mind all this year so far, and that weight looks highly likely to be lifted. Just in time for the start of Blockbuster Pre-Season, too - Battle: LA opens on the 11th, followed fairly soon by Sucker Punch, and then we get into the real meat of the year, with the opening of THOR. Nice - I have reason to celebrate, and the means to do so!
Development News... Chapter 3 of TDD-611 ...Final Movement is on the verge of completion - but matters of a neighbourly nature will delay any further work (hopefully only) a little. I have a meeting to attend tonight...
